Mom I know this sound kind of weird but war is actually fun. It is very exciting and when we are shooting back and forth at each other. It is not fun to see somebody get killed right in front of you though. My partner Calvin got killed right in front of me by another sniper before I could kill the other sniper. We were just beginning to connect with each other.
The weather was a real big distraction in the war because of the shining hot sun. With all the uniform on and equipment on my body made me very hot, sweaty, and sticky. During the day the sun in my eyes made it difficult for me to see and snipe the enemies. Being though I was stationed high in the air I could never get away from the sun. Only time I could do my job without being distracted is when the sun went down.
